In August 2017, Tom moved to the Northwest Austin area to work with his oldest son Thomas who started the corporation Zollege, parent company of Vandelay Education. Thomas and his dad has a passion for giving back to the community and wanted to help homelessness in the Austin area so they created Purple Pig Realty. This was the first real estate company in Texas granted by the Texas Real Estate Commission as a PBC (Public Benefit Corporation). Now an LLC, the company continues this endeavor and gives a portion of its commission to a 501(c)(3) charity in the local community chosen by a buyer or seller represented by Purple Pig Realty. The company is currently in a new facility on Hwy 87 just north of the Hemphill city limits.

Tom's sphere of influence expands beyond the appraisal and real estate world as he's been actively involved in the community for many years. He has served on the local GM Water board, Tri-County Community Action and currently serving on the Hemphill I.S.D Education Foundation board. In addition, he is a member of the Hemphill Lions Club and the Sabine County Chamber of Commerce. Tom has coached with the Hemphill Dixie League for several years and worked with the local Boy Scout troop. He and his wife Cindy have been happily married for 41 years and are members of First Baptist Church in Hemphill. They have four children, Thomas, Rachel, Ryan and Spencer, all graduates of Hemphill ISD. The Ince's currently have ten grandchildren. Tom is a trusted agent, neighbor, and friend.
